The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart debuted a new video for their current single “Everything With You”, shot entirely on Super 8 by their friend Art Boomparn.

“Everything With You” is released in anticipation of the band’s debut album, due for release in February 2009. We’re expecting great things from this one: there is simply no such thing as a rote moment or lazily-delivered tune in The Pains’s repertoire.
If you need any more convincing, here are three reasons to love The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart:
- 1. They have a song called Kurt Cobain’s Cardigan.
2. They formed to play a birthday party playing “five songs with four chords in ten minutes,” and haven’t stopped since.
3. They describe themselves as “perpetual teenagers,” and they’ll make you feel the same way.
The Pains are currently engaged on a December jaunt around the British Isles accompanying like-minded souls The Wedding Present. Last time they played in the UK, in January 2008, the tour was crushed, sweaty and sold-out through word-of-mouth alone.
