Wolf & Cub + Dept.

Dept. has come back with yet another monster remix, this time for Adelaide band Wolf & Cub. Get the remix below which will feature as a B-side on the digital release of Wolf & Cub’s latest single “Seven Sevens” (released next month).

Xtra: the original mix ;)

Recorded with Bumblebeez genius Chris Colonna in his hometown of Braidwood, the song is awash with the psyched out vocals and intergalactic guitar of front man Joel Byrne, combined with the driving bass playing of Thomas Mayhew and the highly combustible percussion courtesy of Joel Carey and newcomer Marvin Hammond.

Taking the raw elements of the early demos and coupling them with the studio wizardry of Colonna, Wolf & Cub have created a memorable cocktail, one part lysergic… one part darkly danceable.

P.S. Dept. will be playing a rare DJ date at Playground Weekender on Friday Feb 6th!
