Two Fingers releases debut single feat. Sway

The first, explosive emanation from a unique new collaboration (Amon Tobin & Joe “Doubleclick” Chapman), “What You Know” is delivered with all the impact of a knockout blow to the solar plexus. Hi-tech but rugged as hell, “What you Know” sounds like “Blade Runner” re-enacted in Tottenham, a juggernaut rhythm laced with the finest of lyrics. “What You Know” was released on Paper Bag Digital on January 13th.

North London MC and MOBO winner Sway, a million miles from his recent “Saturday Night Hustle,” comes through with a lyric about misperceptions, the way that Black youth in Britain is stereotyped and discriminated against, but done in a way that also acknowledges the role that rap music plays in reinforcing these stereotypes. It’s highwire stuff – funny, clever, thoughtful and angry.

The single is available at Paper Bag’s digital store & it comes packed with 2 remixes by Emalkay.

Their self-titled debut album will be released in Canada on April 14th and will be preceded by two singles. “What You Know” is the 1st one & will be followed by the release of “That Girl” on March 17th. Both singles & seven album tracks feature the vocals from Sway.
