New Faunts album: Feel.Love.Thinking.Of.

Faunts new album was unleashed yesterday on iTunes (it’ll be out in stores February 17), & it’s really, really, really good. At once symphonic and sprawling; ambient, yet driving, Feel.Love.Thinking.Of. is the culmination of a year of touring, recording, and meticulous exploration of the band’s transcendent imagination. With its effervescent guitars, mathematic loops and synthesizers, surging drums, and seemingly nomadic bass lines, this album is a beautiful expression of Faunts’ painstaking attention to instrumentation and arrangement. I think it’s the best album yet from these supremely talented Canadians & I’m not the only one, the band itself stated: “It is definitely our most concise and best work to date“.
