The Acorn releases Heron Act + UK tour
The Acorn, are having a great 2009. In January they were given a shout-out by Kanye for their “Crooked Legs” video which he called “beautiful,” they are also currently getting ready for their Winter UK Tour, & will be supporting Fleet Foxes for a couple of shows at the end of this month, & elbow for about a dozen more shows in March (all dates below).
Heron Act is a collection of live recordings, b-sides & more fantastic rare songs spanning their last Canadian & US tours, bringing back the “magic” & “spontaneity” of live recordings. Here is your 1st listen the XM Radio-Toronto recording of “Crooked Legs”.
