The Asteroids Galaxy Tour announce N. American dates

Formed less than a year ago, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour is moving at the speed of light. The band, led by Lars Iversen and Mette Lindberg, created quite a buzz when they came to New York City this past November, heralded (and hosted) by Spin and GBH.TV as one of the hottest new bands from across the pond – thanks to their attention-grabbing 4-track digital EP (3 songs + a remix), Around the Bend.

Their debut full-length, Fruit, drops on April 21st & swerves left & right with one surprise after another. Each song is a carefully crafted pop gem, guaranteed to get you moving. “Passport Approved”, a syndicated tastemaker weekly radio show showed their love for “The Golden Age”, the 6th track on the album, while AM New York says it is:

“A blast of vintage soul from Copenhagen…a verifiable sensation.”

The duo & their band will return to the states this March. They already got New York dancing up a storm when they came to visit last year, this time they’re hitting SXSW, followed by dates in Chicago & California.
