The Republic Tigers announce N. American tour w/ Travis

The Republic Tigers will reunite with Travis this side of the Atlantic for a N. American tour in April. The band, who last year joined Travis for a tour in the United Kingdom, just released the vinyl version of Keep Color, their debut album. Keep Color earned a 9/10 star review in Outburn, and iTunes named the band one of their “Rising Stars of Alt Rock.”

Xtra: a tune from Travis’ critically acclaimed 6th studio album Ode To J. Smith, released last year & available now on iTunes. Ode To J. Smith is their loudest, edgiest and most arresting record since their debut. Written in 5 weeks & recorded in just 14 days, it’s the sound of a band re-born, re-inspired and re-energised.

The Republic Tigers and Travis as well are going to be on the new Josh Schwartz (The O.C., Gossip Girl, Chuck) and Alex Patsavas project Rockville, CA(http://www.rockvilleca.com/).
The Republic Tigers are also the first band Patsavas has signed to her new label Chop Shop, so hopefully that will be a big push for this band.
