Say hello to Cleast Eatwood

NO, i did not misspelled the name! Cleast Eatwood is Erik (vocals, guitar, sythersizers etc) & Li (producer & bass) or how their Myspace expains Erik is the body & Like the brain. Both reside in Stockholm, Sweden & they’ve been making music together since 2002 but in other constellations not worth mentioning (read; really bad rock music & old school ska). The duo has a thing for unpolished homemade beats, mumbo jumbo lyrics about sex & octave choral singing. Their creative process of making a new song starts with Erik presenting a new riff or beat for Li to hear. Then the two starts fighting about if it’s good or bad. After 15 minutes Li get’s her way.

They got a really nice hype going on in the bloggosphere by covering “Electric Feel” by MGMT. Now they will try to do it again but on their own with this original track titled “Get Related”.

If you don’t have it yet, here’s their slowed down cover of “Electric Feel”. Is it just me or men in Sweden really like mustaches?
