In other news, NYLON Records announces their 2nd annual Summer Music Tour with NYLON Records’ artists Patrick Wolf & Plastiscines along with Living Things & Jaguar Love on the bill. The tour will bring some of 2009’s most cutting edge artists together. The NYLON Summer Music Tour is taking over a stage near you, cities & dates are listed below with more to come!
NYLON Records launched recently with Paris’ Plastiscines as their first signing. The Plastiscines have been hailed as France’s most exciting rock band with an addictive garage sound that gave them a hit, 2007’s “Loser”, while still in high school. The jeune filles just released their EP Barcelona via iTunes on April 21st and will be releasing their second full length About Love in June to coincide with the tour. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Butch Walker (Katy Perry, Pink, Avril Lavigne) & mix-master Claudius Mittendorfer (Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand, Muse).
