The 21 year old kid from Guadalajara, Mexico has reached the tops of my iTunes fast! Roba orgón de plantas y animales is Pepepe’s 2nd LP via Poni Republic & its completely FREE! According to Pony Republic, this is his most intricate & emotional work so far. It features the vocals of Cyané in almost in every track. You’ll also find his remix of “1986 Valerie” from Unsexy Nerd Ponies.

Looks like you beat me to the punch on mentioning “Sleep With You”; I just finished writing about it and Pepepe. One of my favourite releases of 2009 so far, no doubt.
