Lost in the Trees announce summer tour

Lost in the Trees, the orchestral indie-pop/rock undertaking of composer/songwriter Ari Picker, will be hitting the road this summer, taking the band’s massive live show all across this fair land.
Starting out in North Carolina then making their way to New York, West to Chicago & St. Louis & then finally back home to Chapel Hill, Lost in the Trees’ live show gracefully translates the intimacy & meditative spirit of last year’s All Alone in an Empty House (Trekky), with Picker’s superb, 8-piece backing band pushing his arrangements to new heights of grandiose reverie.
Since the release of All Alone in an Empty House, Lost in the Trees have toured relentlessly, playing shows alongside such like-minded artists and friends as The Rosebuds, Bowerbirds, Efterklang, Bell, Megafaun, The Physics of Meaning and Midtown Dickens. From small town to city, from DIY space to theater, Lost in the Trees have won over audiences with their honest performance that ranges from intensely personal reflections to bombastic celebratory sing-alongs.
Picker is currently writing the follow-up to Empty House and will begin recording in August. Catch Lost in the Trees live this summer to hear them debut new material.
