Since the release of their critically acclaimed album, Olly Oxen Free, Michigan’s Mason Proper are no longer indie rock’s best kept secret, & are rapidly turning into one of the most beloved bands of the genre.

The band is getting ready to hit the road with Stellastarr* & Wild Light for some west coast dates. They also just completed a video for “Safe For The Time Being,” which will make its online debut shortly.

The band’s video for “Lock & Key” got heavy airplay on MTV2’s Subterranean, who also voted the clip as the #3 best indie music video of 2008 (above).
