My new favorite rock n’ roll band. Emerging from York, The Federals bring a vitality, urgency & immediacy to the music scene. Fast & furious, these 4 angry youths are putting the rage into garage with an arsenal of spiky potential rock n’ roll classics.

They wear their influences firmly on their sleeves; this is The Stooges, 13th Floor Elavators & the earliest brattishness of The Who dragged helplessly kicking & screaming into the 21st century, via The Willowz, early White Stripes & even the more cultured multi-layered fuzz box power of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
