Sinusstøv is a Danish electronica duo consisting of Claus Pedersen & Søren Friis Dam. They will be releasing a brand new EP titled Sinusoid Wave Electronica on 10″ & download pretty soon. They collaborated with Hannah Schneider (vocals & songwriting) & Anna Stengade (songwriting), who have written the lyrics & melodies for the compositions from the duo.

On this EP Sinusstøv blends unique electronica elements with catchy vocal lines. Together they create a sublime expression where the soft voice of Hannah Schneider clings around scratching & popping electronic music. In general, the music can be described as electronica shaped in a new & different way. As it is important to them to have a unique sound & expression in their music, they have built up all the instruments from scratch starting with a sinusoidal wave only. Likewise, they have recorded all the samples themselves after which they have been modulated & tweaked by either Claus or Søren. A few acoustical elements blend with the electronic rhythms & digital noise sounds, not as exotic features in the soundscape, but as elements that make the electronica more intensive & complex.
