Free EP from My Awesome Mixtape: Other Houses

My Awesome Mixtape’s story starts at the tail end of 2006. Maolo, Checco & Bebo – 3 spritely Bolognese regaz – half-jokingly start making music. Mixing & matching their favourite styles, they end up generating an original mix of indie rock, hip hop & electronica. After a few changes in line-up & solo experiments, My Awesome Mixtape become a fivesome: Maolo Torreggiani, Andrea Mancin, Andrea Sologni, Alessandro Scagliarini & Federico Spadoni.
Back in 2007 the guys released their debut album & toured all over Italy. This year they’re back with How Could a Village Turn Into a Town being released on September in Italy via 42 Records. The band thinks September is still to far away so they’re offering an EP for free titled Other Houses. It contain 3 new songs (two of which will not be made available anywhere else), as well as 2 remixes by hot items of the Italian club scene Congorock & Peluche.
