Memory Cassette released a new EP titled Call & Response & listeners are loving it! MC & their label Acephale Records thought it would be nice to get some of their favorite artists to remix some of the songs off the record & then give them all away for FREE. They’re simply calling this remix EP Calls & Responses & you can get it over at Memory Cassette’s blog. You’ll find remixes from Friend, CFCF, Weird Tapes, Sail A Whale, & Shadow Self.

My favorite remix is the one by Friend’s, which gives off energy that seems island fueled. The steel drum noise makes me wanna kick back with a mojito & just chill in a hammock.
