Saintseneca is a folk band from Columbus, Ohio, but “folk” doesn’t capture the passion, potential & joy in their music. The band might say they play folk songs, at least as an idiom, but the real magic behind their twangy banjo, percussive dulcimer & floating violin is the sudden symphonies of sound created with layers of voices, stomps, claps & trash cans.
