No doubt die-hard fans of the Danish noise-pop duo The Raveonettes trembled with excitement when they previewed a demo version of “Last Dance” this June. 3 months later, the band is releasing the final version of the song as the lead off single from their forthcoming album In And Out Of Control (out October 6th on VICE Records).

Along with the recently leaked album track “Suicide”, & the series of stripped down teaser performances from the iTunes bonus video featurette The Chelsea Sessions, “Last Dance” provides a promising glimpse of The Raveonettes’ wildly anticipated 4th studio album. Perhaps their most ambitious release to date, In And Out Of Control combines the noir-garage rock sounds of their early releases with the darkness of 2008′s Lust Lust Lust for a mixture of 11 equally morose yet ecstatic pop gems.
