Acid Washed

The eponymous debut album from space-disco duo, Acid Washed is nearly here. Out on March 29th, Acid Washed sees Richard D’Alpert & Andrew Claristidge realize their vision of creating sophisticated electronics with a sharp pop aesthetic, using vintage & modern equipment.

Various luminaries have been involved in the project so far, significant contributions coming from Xaver Naudascher, Supersoul Recordings head honcho, & Anthony Burrill, the British designer. Xaver was the man to lead Acid Washed through the final mixing & additional production stage whilst Anthony’s striking geometric imagery adorns their record sleeves as well as being the hypnotic focal point of recent videos for debut 12″ General Motors, Detroit, America – Snake.

Here’s a previously unreleased remix of “Snake”, courtesy of Matthew Puffett a.k.a. Future Beat Alliance. The dynamic vocal from recent City Slang signing, Barbara Panther, gets sent on a journey through deep techno.
