Swingset Committee just remixed the track “Run the Heart” by Sleigh Bells, bringing it into a completely different sonic realm of downtempo, trip-hoppy dubsteppy madness. A ton of time was poured into this track, & I think it really shows in the subtle details. Check it out:

Andrew Belinsky & David Dahlquist first began collaborating on electronic music in 2008 in Berkeley, CA. Soon after, Swingset Committee was born. Later that year, the two journeyed to Seoul, South Korea, where they wrote & recorded their debut EP In Transit & fine-tuned their live show. En route from Korea to Brooklyn, NY, they toured extensively across Japan, Korea, California, & Texas, playing SXSW & co-billing with Bear in Heaven, Vivian Girls, & Melt Banana along the way.

Settling in Brooklyn, in 2010, Swingset Committee released their EP In Transit via Catlick Records, solidified their line-up with the addition of drummer Tim Morrison, & landed a CMJ showcase with the Deli NYC. This is just the beginning…
