Médéric & Alexis form BeatauCue. These 2 French youngsters from the Normandy countryside started producing music at home in their bedroom, in Caen. Actually it started all as a game but the starts are aligning quite nicely for the duo. A bit more than 1 year they released their debut EP Cha Cha Cha on Kitsuné & 6 months after their single “Disque Oh!”.
This week BeatauCue is back with a brand new EP titled Falcon Punch. This release includes 6 tracks that will make you go apes on the dance floor. Within the 6, you’ll find “H.O.W.L”, a collaboration with Japanese superstar DJ Shinichi Osawa aka Mondo Grosso. This is just proof that there’s no age for talent.
The EP also features a cover made by one of my favorite illustrators, McBess (Matthieu Bessudo), who transformed the two into his twisted cartoon world. Love it!
