Hey guys, at 12:00 PM PST/3:00 PM EST (2 PM Austin), I’ll be hosting a virtual screening of Mogwai’s live film, Burning! This film was directed by Vincent Moon & Nathanael Le Scouarnac of La Blogotheque’s Take-Away Shows, & was shot during the band’s sold-out, 3-night residency at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg in April 09. This creative collaboration will also be released on a CD/DVD on August 24th, along with an 11-track live album titled Special Moves. Pre-order is available here.

The latest release from the Scion A/V Garage 7″ series marks the debut offering from Bad Lupo Grande. The roster of this rockabilly trio is unexpectedly made up of members of New York’s electronic-friendly dance music community.

On vocals & guitar is Luca Venezia (better know as Drop the Lime), handling the bass is Nick Hook of the band Cubic Zirconia & behind the drums is Terry Campbell, who played with Spank Rock, HEARTSREVOLUTION & Hussle Club.
