As promised, here’s the first remix of “Make It Better”, the awesome new single from The Knocks. This one comes courtesy of the Massachusetts noisy electro/rock group DOM.

The Knocks describes it “with fat gritty analog bass over driving drums leading the way followed by a shimmery rat-a-tat-esque lead chorus synth, this remix changes up the whole vibe of the song in a great way. This remix sounds like it could be in your favorite 80s action film and we love it.” Check it out:

Some very exciting news from The Knocks. Their 2nd official single, “Make It Better”, is being released by Neon Gold on July 27th on a limited 7″ pressing with a B-side & a banging remix by the one & only Emil & Friends!!

Leading up to the release they’ll be leaking a handful (around 7), all equally awesome remixes by DOM, Pink Ganter, Monsieur Adi, Samuel & more. Stay tuned, I might be featuring some.

What started as an acoustic jam session at HeavyRoc Studios has now turned into a white hot anthem. “Cocaine (The Knocks Remix)” is the first offering from the magical voice that belongs to Julia. Julia has spent the past couple years playing in Frances as well as The Americans & now she is stepping out on her own with HeavyRoc Music.
